| Very cool place to hang out - For Authors and Readers on myspace! |
COS Productions
I wanted to point this one out to everyone. If you haven't been by there yet, you should go check it out. (BTW, I've got nothing to do with running this site, just a fan of what they're doing!)
Not only do they do book trailers for authors, they have a list of many of the authors, bookstores and publishers here on myspace for you to check out and network with--see their blog.. They post monthly blogs with release information for many books of all genres. It's a great place for authors to connect with readers and get their work seen, and a wonderful place for readers to browse around and connect with your fave authors and maybe find some new ones.
Their newest free project for writers is a social network, focusing on listing titles by authors right here on myspace. To see the project, go here.

Many of their services are free to authors, and I believe all are free to readers. I'd like to thank them for donating their time, and encourage everyone to spread the link to their site so all myspace authors can get exposure. |

Free Author Promo Opportunities
Body: We have gained a lot of new friends lately and I wanted to update them as to what COS is doing to promote authors and books.
1. Author's List
Get your name on the largest Author's on MySpace list. We have an ongoing list that we supply to magazines and other interested people willing to post the list. It is free to have your name included. The list is free to anyone who wants it, including you!
2. Book Blurbs
Book Blurbs are put up once a month and it is a free opportunity for you to blurb your book. Instructions on guidelines are on our MySpace homepage (located to the left as you look at your screen). Please follow the guide since we just cut and paste what you send.
When the blurbs go out we advertise them to book clubs for you!
3. Comments
Our comments section are a place for you to promote your MySpace site, website, book, self or product. The only things we don't allow in our comments section are nudity, pornographic pictures, profanity or any book videos that are not COS products.
4. Book Catalog
We now have a Social Network Catalog open only to MySpace authors and vendors. Instructions on how to participate are on our blog. Please not that this catalog will be advertised heavily starting next week!
Please know that we do have other lists that are about to be updated. We have a Publisher's List and a Bookseller's List.
COS Productions wants to establish it's "Brand" as being author-friendly and author-promoting. We offer many promo opportunities for free and hope that you'll consider us for your video needs in the future.
