What is this?
Does anyone know what kind of flowers these are? They just appeared behind a house that I used to live in and I ran across it, realizing I never did figure it out. They were really pretty, appearing suddnely all over the back yard after having lived there for 5 years and not planting them.
In the mid west we call these Naked Ladies. They are a bulb and come up in the spring with just leaves that look like Daffodil leaves. And they come up in clumps, 6then the leaves die off. Then in July or August a single stem will come up and bloom all the way around it.. As long as you leave them alone alone in the spring they will come up. After 5 or 7 years you may want to break up the clump of bulbs and transplant some. Liz
You ladies are awesome. Wow Liz! I'm going to have to come to you will all my flower questions, lol. We just moved and our new house has a greenhouse, small garden and plenty of landscaped area that will need tending.
Everyone's welcome to stop by and comment, don't be shy! I tend to keep it relaxed around here.

Those look like a type of day lily. They also can spread all over the place.
